some DVDs that the DVD Writer's manufacturer recommends--all DVDs are not the same nor are all created equal. (For instance trying to burn a LightScribe label REQUIRES that the DVD be designed specifically for LightScribe technology which is for labeling the disc rather than for writing data to one.)
I recently purchased an HP a1130n for Multimedia, w/Windows XP SP2. I have been attempting to create a Recovery Disc, but Lightscribe is not recognizing the blank 2-layer HP DVD that came with the computer. Whenever I try to burn the Recovery info onto the DVD, I get an error message saying the disc is not the correct type, and instructing me to insert a 2-layer DVD. Has anyone got the solution? Thanks!
