Unable to copy data from ipod-30gb to hard drive !!

i have a 30GB Video iPod with me.recently i put some dvd rips & mp3 files on the ipod as data files(dragging & dropping it into the iPod from the 'my computer') ...

now what is happeneing is i am able to play the dvd rips,but unable to copy them on the hard disk...

the error i am getting is: Cannot copy <name of file> : The parameter is incorrect

then after this, if i try to copy anything else,it wants me to 'insert disk in F:\' !!

however,there were some files which i was able to copy back onto the hard disk,including dvd rips...no such error as far as mp3 files are concerned...

tell me how to get the data back on my hard drive !!

iPod to Hard Drive

You should be aware that, out of the box, the iPod is not designed to do this.

You will need the aid of a third party piece of software. Anapod springs to mind.
