Yes. Just a few comments. First it does not affect the wired connection. Some wifi clients (your laptop, other devices) may not work proper with all settings. There is no web page for you to consult here. You try and test it.

Alright, here is my situation guys. The computer in the other room is wired to the router. I have a wireless adapter on my computer and everything works just peachy with our WEP 64-bit security enabled. I was advised to switch that over to WPA2 protection as it is supposedly more secure. However, when I switch over to WPA2 through the router setup page on the main PC, it seems to work fine. Until I return to my PC and see that I no longer can connect to the network! Even when I select "Properties" under the Network Connections icon on the taskbar, and go to the "Wiresless Networks" tab, select my SSID and check the Data Encryption options, my only choice is WEP.
