Works with me also.

I'd try a laptop at another location. If that works, your laptop on that location and that laptop at your current location.

Most likely thing: a temporary outage of the something at the website.

Re: can't connect

Now find a friend with a laptop/netbook/pad and use that at your home with your internet connection. Also try your usual live media on that machine.
As - from the message - it seems a server issue, it's mysterious.

If on a certain laptop (the one of your friend) it works everywhere except with your Internet connection, it's an issue outside your PC. Reset the modem, reset the router and if that doesn't help contact your ISP.

Recap.
Jun 3, 2011 9:20PM PDT

You can't connect from your own laptop running a Linux Live disk.
You can't register yourself completely via a proxy, because it has been blocked.

That's mysterious indeed. What does the webmaster of that site say about the possible cause?

"more-over to prevent from getting affected from virus I use live-media"

That's your clue. If the live media's choice of DNS resolution fails you'll have to use the IP ADDRESS of that site rather than its name.

This all sounds like a proper failure to me. At least you know what to do next.
