Resolved Question

UN65D8000 off-axis viewing

Jul 30, 2011 2:51AM PDT

I have a un65d8000 led-lcd television. I have adjusted the picture so it looks pretty good straight on, but viewed off center just a little, it washes out really bad(loss of color and contrast) I am wondering if I have a bad panel or is this just the panel they decided to use on this tv. I am going to have return this tv if I can't get the off-axis picture better.

That's typical for LCD displays.

yeh, that I'm thinking I have to go the plasma route. I'm just worried about heat emission. I looked at the PN64d8000 at the store and it wasn't blazing hot though. Thanks
