Resolved Question

UN55H6300AF - No Apps loaded and unable to download apps

New Samsung Smart TV model UN55H6300AF bought in the US.

Besides the web browser, there are no apps loaded and I am unable to download any new apps. When I try selecting "What's new" or "Popular", I get a no apps available message.

It has a wired internet connection. Software is updated. Tried resetting Smart Hub. Same result.

Please advise.

Changing the DNS server to then reseting Smart Hub fixed the problem.

Call in and have them check your country code (in the TV) and hopefully that will help. Sometimes Samsung's servers are unreachable and a call should have them check that for you.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
