umm this is my first build and...

i dont hear any code beeps,no bios screen,but i see the fan spinning(including the cpu fan) Im going to frys today to try and get it checked out fot any problems. but do you guys think it could be a DOA motherrboard? or what can it be?

problems like yours. There's tons of messages with the same/similar problems and plenty of things for you to try...especialy reading the MB manual.

After doing that you don't find a solution for your problem...then like the note says 'If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.'

reseat the memory and the videocard and we were fine,but i cant hear any sound though, can anyone help me out here?

Lesson...next time...test the components in the MB BEFORE

installing the MB in the case. Otherwise it's much much harder to troubleshoot a system that won't post.

Re the sound . . I answered that in the forum you posted the question in. Not a good idea to dual post uqestions.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
