Question

Umbuto OS to windows

Jun 22, 2018 4:35PM PDT

Hi everyone.

I recently bought a new desktop pc and was disappointed with the Linux OS installed on it so I’m trying to change it to windows 7 from a .iso disk image file.

The trouble is I can’t get it to boot from the USB and start the installation.

I am noob with this stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go back to the web on how to create a proper Windows 7 bootable DVD. At no time will you see an .ISO file if you made the install media correctly.

"Burn Image" to a DVD, then boot from the optical drive. Also consider Linux Mint 18.3 if W7 doesn't work out for you. (I use Mint myself)
