...someone complaining about slamming Opera. Nobody cares.
Ok... the dismissive "well, T-Mobile has bad coverage/service/customer service/coffee/pizza/etc..." comments. Can you guys just pick up a TMo phone and give it a try? ('Cuz, I don't think you have.) This time I think it was Brian Tong on episode 1225 who said something about TMo's San Francisco coverage.
I'm a CTO in the mobile industry, and as such have carried around phones from every major carrier - and Verizon and TMo are the two phones that don't fail on me. Ever, actually. My primary phone is a Nexus One running on TMo, and it's service is phenomenal. Not just in San Francisco, but all over the country. (I travel quite a bit.) 4 bars almost all the time, and 3G service only drops in all the usual places: elevators, deep inside office buildings...big RF cages, basically. AT&T and Sprint, on the other hand... dropped calls, dropped connections, 3G lights blinking on and off like a christmas tree on caffeine. (To be fair to Sprint, the 4G service in the cities that support it has been pretty rock solid.)
So...yeah, seriously. Pick up a TMo phone and carry it around with you for a week and see how it does next to your iPhone and your Incredible. I suspect you'll stop raggin' on the T.
