Also, I forgot to mention that when connecting the PS3 directly to the HT-WS1 the soundbar does switch to the blue indicator standing for DTS, when playing the particular BD I'm referring to. This is with the bitstream via optical setting.
However, I can't watch TV with soundbar sound when doing that.
Now, first of all I'm rather satisfied with the TV/soundbar combination - however, it's also giving me a bit of a headache.
My setup is as follows, I've got the PS3 connected to the TV via HDMI and the soundbar is connected to the TV with the provded optical cable. Now, for DVDs and games the passthrough seems to work just fine, when using the bitstream via HDMI setting for BD/DVD playback the soundbar correctly uses DTS / Dolby Digital.
However, when watching a BD there is no sound whatsoever, unless I change the setting to linear PCM.
Now what I'd like to know, is this a technical limitation I have to live with (the BD I'm referring to has 5.1 DTS-HD)?
Or is there something (anything) I can change?
