Question

Ublock origin

May 27, 2017 3:00PM PDT

If I block an element on a web page the element is gone.
If I refresh the page the element is still gone.
If I close and open the browser and view the page the element is back.

If I go through the same exercise again the element is gone.
If I look at the filters that were created the first and second time their exactly the same.

Is that the way it's supposed to work, just a temporary filter for the duration of the session.

Answer
Isn't the option....

to block temporarily or block always there? Sometimes I'll land on a page that asks that. If I know it's OK I'll use temporary. I can't recall if I permanently blocked something and it showed up again.

Block temporarily or block always......not that I can see.
It just creates a filter which works fine for the current session.

I'll try and see if I can duplicate tomorrow.

Any success?

Just an example, on this forum there is a pic of a s8 phone.
I can use ubo to block the pic for the current session but if I start a new session it's back.

I can't seem to replicate it.
