1. Did you try other phones?
(Some melt down at this point but it's a good test.)
2. There was a HUGE CHANGE in the cellular world last month and I'm still working the issue with Nissan. What was it? ATT shut down 2G networks. I don't know your Ford so I don't know if it applies but KEEP READING.
When I called in they lead with "Hmm, must be you." Now when I call it, they say "OMG, not another one." It's that big a hit.
My Samsung J320A was paired to my Ford Sync. A few days ago, the Sync system stopped recognizing my phone. I followed the troubleshooting guide in the Sync manual (including restoring and resetting the Sync system). I also took the battery out of my phone, made sure my Bluetooth was on for the phone and the Sync system and even restored the phone to original settings. No luck yet. When I try to pair the devices, the phones locates the Sync system but immediately shows: unable to communicate with sync.
Samsung said its the Sync system. Ford says its the phone.
Anything else I can try? I would certainly appreciate helps.
