UA55D8000 LED TV wireless

I've read that my LED TV has in built wireless - how do I check that it is enabled or connect with it (there is nothing in the eManual about wireless)?

This is predominantly for connecting with the Samsung iPhone app that is available - is this app compatible with my TV (I've read that it is only compatible with 2010 models) and if so, how do I connect it? They don't seem to recognise each other.
