U2 free download

got itunes on laptop and ipad. Free U2 download ok on ipad but not showing in itunes on my laptop. If I go into itunes store it shows the album as being purchased. Any idea why this is ??

That's because you have already "purchased" it

I presume that the laptop and iPad use the same Apple ID?

If so, anything purchased on the laptop would appear as being purchased on the iPad, and vice versa, and just needs to be downloaded.
