U.S. Robotics Wireless Problems

Mar 7, 2005 3:43AM PST

After I installed a US Robotics Wireless Router, I have experienced several lock ups by my computer when I am on the internet. It causes my computer to completely freeze and the only way to reset it is to press the power button for 5-10 seconds until the computer powers down. The computer typically locks up when I switch to a new web site or when I go to a site that has a lot of pop ups (i.e. ESPN). Any suggestions on how to alleviate this problem (other than staying away from certain web sites).

then try not to use IE, like RP said... get firefox.

If you still have 'freeze' problem after changing your hardware, then it possible that you have a virus/adware/spyware in your pc.
