1. Your ISP has a problem with your line.
2. Your modem/router is headed south.. (It might also be a good idea to swap in some known "good" cables just to be sure it's not a problem with faulty cabling.)
Either way, contacting your ISP about the issue is a good place to start.

My operating system is XP My provider is Tiscali my wireless router is Netgear model DG834Bx3. My problem is I keep going off line. with a Alert Message. URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. If I unplug my modem for a couple of minutes then plug back on.I can get the internet back.can anyone help me to over come this annoying problem?
