with Ad-aware ad-watch live! and AntiVir. Ad-watch live (the real time protection by Ad-aware) will only monitor the processes. AntiVir will monitor everything. If you have enabled the DownloadGuard for IE by Ad-Aware, that's another real-time protection when using IE.
Should not have issue with AntiVir to monitor the system but you should configure AntiVir to exclude Ad-Aware folder, processes so AntiVir will not interfere with Ad-Aware (in case Ad-Aware will detect anything and want it remove).
I recently downloaded Avira AntiVir for my virus protection, and it is my main real-time protection program. I also downloaded Malwarebytes' and Ad-Aware for malware and spyware. I've noticed though, that Ad-Aware has real-time protection too. I know you can't have two real-time protection programs for viruses, but you can, and should, download a couple of spyware programs. Since Avira also deals a little with spyware, I was wondering if it's bad to have two real-time protection programs for spyware.
