Two OS?!

Hi, I repartitioned my computer and then installed Windows XP Pro over the old Windows XP Home edition; now, whenever I boot up, it asks me to choose which OS to start from. It selected Home just to see what it would do, and the computer can't even boot up with Home Edition. Is there some way I can make it stop asking me to choose the OS to boot from? Thank in advance.

Edit C:\BOOT.INI and remove an extra display of old OS. Backup the file before making any change, thought.
