Two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT devices I need advice on

Dec 5, 2005 1:18PM PST

I've been looking around for a longgggg time for a mp3 player that fits my standards and I've boiled down to these two:

1) Creative Zen Microphoto (Either Black or Grey)

2) Archos Gmini AV420

They are two completely different machines and I've bet you guys have never seen a comparison like this before but I wanted the Microphoto because it's small and has every feature packed in, but on the other hand there is the AV420 which has video playback and t.v. recording. I'm completely baffled on which one to buy.

Here are some questions that will help benefit to my decision:

1) I'm a student who uses the bus regularly, should I actually get a PVP if I already have a portable DVD player?

2) Does the AV420 fit well in the pocket?

I know this is a lot of information but any help is appreciated. Much thanks!

OH and yangman,
Don't come and recommend the Ipod Nano Wink

haha, i'll spare you my lecture on this one. I'd go with the Creative Micro Photo *gasp* on this one simply because i still think its kinda pointless to have a dvd player AND a pvp, which only has 20 gb, mind you. Also, since ur still in highschool apparently and taking the bus, that would seem to be something you could get beat up over. So, i would recommend the microphoto since it has better battery and is much more portable. (i wouldn't want a pvp sticking outta my pocket)

It's finally in Canada! I'm gonna buy it tomorrow. Thanks for the post though. I hope your nano brings you many days of good tunes!
