When those young guys in a pair come around, with their name tags saying "Elder .....", make sure to pin your name tag on too before opening door, one that says "Ancient ......"

Good one.

Some yeats ago a friend said one objected when she didn't use the title. She said, "You're not my elder in any way, shape or form!". End of encounter*.

Few if any know that the Bible uses the Greek for elder and bishop equivalently and interchangeably. Yet their older ones have the latter title. I've talked to them, too. Not as polite as the kids.

* Then, she called a "born-again Christian" to come over and slam the door in their faces. We're not allowed.
