Through shopjimmy.com youtube videos and his help on the comment sections i isolated the problem to the main board. i got the part in today and that fixed the issue.
So if anyone has the same TV with my issue the main board is the problem. to repeat the issue for quick troubleshootin for anyone else.
-TV wont do anything, not even make sound of power up at all.
-with mainboard unplugged from power board and plug in power cord the backlight turns on
**-with everything hooked up and tv power button hit, no video, no sound at all, no back light
-main board replaced. now works.
**(if you get sound but not video with everything hooked up then its the T-con board)
Samsung 60" led. UN60FH6003FXZA. This tv is only 7 months old but because of where im stationed at in Alaska samsung has no techs so wont fix it. There is no professional tv repair tech on this island. I'm already not happy this thing being as new as it is and breaking and the warranty not working.. ANYWAYS.
Wont turn on, doesn't click. It makes no start up noises what so ever. I can find no damaged parts, powerboard has no damaged looking capacitors. With the main board unplugged from the powerboard and power cord in the backlights all come on. with everything all hooked up the t con board makes that noise of power going through it. thats the only sound coming from this tv. I also tried unplugged holding power button down for 10 seconds, wait a minute, replug and retry. So i have it down to mainboard or t-con. anyone have thoughts?
