Question

TV Wiring Question, Please

Aug 25, 2016 11:23AM PDT

Hello,
New uhd Smart tv.

It uses two of those one component mini connectors for Component Inputs.
I want to connect a CD Player.

There is a yellow and a blue jack.

Each with a few pigtails from the short cables the provide.

Which is the Audio ? The blue ?

Would be most grateful if anyone could tell me what all the colors are for the blue and for the yellow plugs ?

Sure was simpler with the conventional
RCA jacks.

Thanks,
Bob

Please add all model numbers.

I've yet to see an audioCD player with yellow and blue RCA jacks. All the ones I've setup have the old standard Stereo red and white plugs. Yellow is often composite video and blue? That might be on a component video set.

Anyhow I fear this is not a good idea. TV speakers are notoriously "not good enough."

Let's get all the model numbers and see what we can do. A picture of your cable from the AudioCD player would be nice.

Just in case. You can use any color RCA cables.
