Tv Tuner problems!

Hi, about a month ago i purchased a HP Pavillion Laptop with Vista Home Premium. Iv been playing around with the features and when I scan for services in Media Centre, it seems that none are found. My TV card is inserted and the arial connected etc... would it possible just be because i am in a bad area for signal?? or could ther be something wrong?

Same Problem

I have purchased HP pavilion tx2000 and it comes with Vista Home Premium version. I have been using Fusion HDTV usb tuner with previous laptop with XP, works fine but with this Window Media Centre, always a problem. Messages are ,,,can not find a tuner, or some other device is using this program,,,,
Can I delete Window Media centre and use other program instead ?
