TV Tuner help on Desktop

I just got a new (to me)computer that has a built in Tv Tuner.
Acer Aspire AM5100-U5300A
AMD Anthlon 64x2 Dual Core, 2GB DDR2 Memory,500GB SATA Hard drive with Windows Vista Home premium OS.
The computer was given to me not working so I took it to the shop and had the hard drive formatted and Vista reloaded,.so drivers and software that were on it are not on it anymore. I have gone to Acer and downloaded the Driver for the Tv Tuner but when it is unzipped it does not install and I see no install file. I also do not see the Tv Tuner listed in Control panel or under "my computer". On the back of the tower I only see one yellow patch cord type plug in for video (like on any cable box(satellite,VCR,DVD player etc.) But no red and white for Audio.
Can anyone tell me how to use the Tv Tuner ?
Do I need to download any other software ?
I am not familiar with Vista either. (Old computer had XP.)
