I have a new Dell Inspiron 700m laptop. I use a wireless router and have digital cable thru Time Warner Cable. I want to be able to wirelessly record my shows onto my laptop.........what exactly do I need??????? Any suggestions???

for a PCMCIA TV tuner card. If you don't have that type of slot, do a search for a TV tuner card that will work with your notebook.

You can Google for what you want but I have not heard of a card that will connect to a cable box wirelessly. There would have to be a device connected to the cable box and then broadcast that signal to your laptop. It would be a useful product if it worked.
There is a box close to what you want - look for "Slingbox". They may make a device that comes close to what you are looking at.
