TV to PC Card recommendations...

I need some assistance. I have a P4, 1 gig RAM, SLI 6800 GT video card on XP home edition OS. I would like to run my cable to my computer so I guess I need a TV to PC card.

I would be interested in a DVR with a remote control?.I would like to keep the cost around $150.00

First: What card do you suggest?

Second: What is the difference between a Video Capture card and a TV card?

Third: I would not mind a pay-service (TIVO) fee. A great software package is important to me.

Thanks again?.

A TV Tuner card is what you want. . .

I have products from here Software for capturing the program to the HD and then burning to a DVD is supplied. Some of the higher end cards have remote controls that turn your PC into a TIVO. I have this one that's USB, priced in your range. Lesser cost models are available with fewer bells and whistles such as radio. Internal PCI cards are available too.
