TV screen blanks out

I have a new Panasonic TV (TX-L32ET5B) and DVD recorder (DMR-EX773EB).

Sometimes, while watching the TV, the screen will go blank. In the top left-hand corner are the letters, EC/DVD. Below, briefly, the word 'Auto' appears, then vanishes.

This happens without me going anywhere near the remote controls, and also when there is no program being recorded, or set to record. (Though it has happened on a previous occasion when a program was set to record.)

I can get the TV back by pressing AV on the remotes.

I'm guessing I've done something wrong at some stage, Does anyone have any idea what that might be?

Many thanks.

Panasonic forum: TV screen blanks out

Many thanks. I've had a look at the other forum but it was a different problem. It's still happening on a regular basis. I may just take it back to the shop I bought it from.
