tv repair

i repaired tv's in the 70's and 80's.i have a zenith projection and want to know if there is a site to get some info.on this technology.the new circuits such as shutdown circuits and the convergence circuits.what i would like to find is a cd that explains the technology.tried a search,thought someone might be able to give me a hint on doing this kind of seach.
