TV out problem

Oct 1, 2005 9:43AM PDT

I have an ASUS Radeon 9600XT with a VIVO. I have a VCR hooked up to it so I can play tapes, edit the video on my computer, and then record the new video back to tape... or at least that's what I used to do. I can get the video into my computer just fine but when I try to put it back on the tape I hit a brick wall. Where the video should be, I only see black. I can see my Windows desktop and the media player just fine when I play the tape back. However, the area where I should see video is blank. I've done this before without a problem but it's been several months. For the life of me now I can't figure this out.

I'm using Windows XP with the latest Catalyst Control Center drivers for my video card. In the Catalyst Control Center, I'm choosing to clone my monitor to the TV.

Thank you.
