A bad start for product support.

Remember I can't tell you because LG made some thousand models across the world, so my advice is pack it up and return it if the seller and maker can't tell you this answer.

It's a bad indication of future support. Did you ask both seller and maker yet?
PS. LG reps rarely show up here. And volunteers can't answer without the full model number.

what is the full model number

without knowing the model number there is absolutely no way to tell you where the on/off swiitch is.

If I were to guess (badly)

I wonder if the makers have tried to make units with no buttons at all. I rarely use the buttons on the TV. Just use the remote 99.9999% of the time.
