That's not a warranty issue at all and can upset folk that find out that antenna coverage is not a warranty item.
I think you explained why it stopped working well.
As to WiFi, keep that wired or the distance to the router under 20 feet.
Hi, can anybody be able to tell me what is wrong with my lg tv. It had been working fine for a while and when I moved I had to trunk a extra long Ariel lead due to where the socket was. The tv still worked however a lot of the channels were breaking up as if the signal was extremely weak. Then suddenly it stopped finding my wireless network (smart tv) and now it never can find it at all. So I tried factory resetting it and now it can't find any channels when I programme it either. The tv works if I plug it in into my router wire and it works on the sky but I can't get the freeview to work. It's out of warranty and is about 14 months old.
On top of that my living room 49 lg tv has packed up being 366 days old yes also one day out of warranty when my boyfriend pulled a piece of plastic off an old switch which was taped up/isolator fitted and it gave a spark, the electricity box flipped and since then this tv kept turning off and now won't turn on at all. Tried lots like changing fuse, checking sockets, checked tv ports etc nothing has worked. Not sure if the fact the sockets tripped has anything to do with the tv it's just weird it happened straight after.
Any ideas with the two TVs?
I've got sky on my smaller tv but it's not ideal.
I've emailed lg but I'm wondering if anybody would know anything?
