TV Model UN65F9000AFXZA

Apr 30, 2015 1:20AM PDT

I was prompted to install a software update today, the tv then went into an endless boot cycle.

Then shut off - Now when I power it back on, it stays on for about 40 seconds and then shuts off.

I already put in a call to Samsung but wanted to give everyone the heads up.

Figures that this happen right when the warranty period ends...

I Also called Samsung and they couldn't help me. Of coarse my warranty was up and wanted to send a tech over. Anyway I figured it out .Un plug the power cord, Disconnect all plugs going to the evolution kit except for the hdmi plug going to tv. Plug the tv back on and it should work, then plug in everything else. Hope this helps

Service Needed

I do have someone showing up on Monday. It turns out that the Firmware that was pushed out to our tv's is the cause of this issue. It's being reported on other AV Forums.

My question is how do they not test this before pushing it out?
