I'm new to the forum here and seems to help a lot of other people so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Issue: TV keeps on turning on and off. I've unplugged for hours and then tried turning on tv again and power cycle won't stop. I've read that I need to reset some settings, but the tv won't stay on long enough for me to even get to settings. Next I've read that it could be a capacitor issue. So I opened up the tv and took a look at the board and all the capacitors look ok (no bulges). Then I saw somewhere it could be the "other" board (green one). IF that's the case, there's nothing we can do to "fix" it.
My warranty just ran up. Wonder why that always seems to happen that something breaks right when the warranty ends. It's going to cost a lot to get this fixed. I've seen some people get support from the Samsung staff. Any chance I can get some help here with a service request?
Worst case scenario, is there a way to confirm it's the circuit board (green one) and order just the board? Would that solve the issue? I assume replacing the board by myself would be much cheaper than paying labor for someone else to do it.
