Resolved Question

TV flickering

Jan 10, 2012 10:59AM PST

I have a 60 inch LCD that is used a couple of times per month at best. The TV is slightly more than a year old and has begun flickering really bad. Has anyone experienced this and was it costly to repair? This was not a cheap tv.

Head to samsung.com and see if you can register it for 3 more months warranty.

Even if that fails, there were some units that Samsung has notes about a small board change. I do not have that information. CALL IT IN.

Thank you so much for taking time to post to my question. I called Samsung first thing this morning and they were able to do what you suggested and are sending someone out next Wednesday. They are standing behind their product and this has restored my confidence in Samsung. 1800 is a large investment. I was very shocked in talking with tv repair people that said that the new flat screens don't last very long. Thank you again and have a "Blessed" 2012.

While the Ambassador is out, and if I swing by, I'll add notes like this. Be sure to get that warranty extension on samsung.com if you can.
