It is better than a SDTV but not as good as a HDTV.
Yes, there is a big difference in quality by using the component cables!! Give it a try!!! Hook up your DVD or cable box with component cables, you will be pleasantly surprised! John
well i have a Toshiba 32A33 which is a 32 inch crt tv made in 2004. the thing is a monster. surprisingly it has component support in back (you know 3 plugs for video 2 for sound). it is not an HD tv. i was curious how good the quality could possibly be if i used these connections? right now i have a computer plugged in via svideo, but i just saw the component cable ports and began to think. i was considering buying a ps3 soon and while i am perfectly aware that most of its beautiful output picture quality would be lost on this tv, i cant help but wonder how it would look. suggestions? is there really a difference with the component cables? especially on this non-HD tv?
