by mathews114 / November 1, 2009 11:48 AM PST

hey i am new i just joined cnet soo i dont know all the rules yet sorry if i break any.. i have a question

i plan to get a Sony BRAVIA XBR KDL-40XBR9. The problem for me is that i am gonna put it on the second floor. MY wireless internet modem is on the 3rd floor. i was wondering if it is possible to connect the tv to my modem via wireless. I don't have a Ethernet cable that's that long. I read around that you can connect Tv's through ur pc. SOo just wondering if i cant avoid connecting it through the PC and just connect it via wireless.

My second question is that i have a ps3 soo is this tv gud. Like when it comes to gamming?

The PS3 has wifi so try that first and see if the signal gets there. Later you can add a network bridge (AKA gaming bridge) if you want that.

Our Sony is fine on the PS3. Connected with the 6 dollar HDMI cable from geeks.com.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
