Try different connections...

and if all behave the same then maybe the problem is the dvd player itself. I suspect it's either the cable/s or connector/s.

Thank you. I'll check the cable hookups. Maybe I made a mistake.

Check the DVD Display Settings
by mg50cnet / January 1, 2009 6:49 AM PST

I had the same problem when I hooked up a new HDTV recently.
After reading all the Manuals, I found the problem.
My DVD player (Samsung) has a Setup menu that includes "Display Setup". It's where you choose the Aspect, Still Mode, Brightness and Video Output. Video Output has options for the way you have connected the DVD to the TV. I corrected mine and the DVD picture went from deep pink to normal colors.
Good luck!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
