It will show up in a HJT log as this:

C:\PROGRA~1\ACCELE~1\StopSign\webcbrowse.dll

{6ACD11BD-4CA0-4283-A8D8-872B9BA289B6} X BHO webcbrowse.dll
webcbrowse*.dll (* = digit) eAcceleration StopSign

webcbrowse.dll

What it does
Advertising
Yes. systimer.exe connects to eAcceleration's servers at buttonware.net every so often to download a list of pop-up adverts and directions as to when to show them.

I asked since the last day has a slick TV ad running about this one. I'm sure many will fall for it.

ZELOZ..Never heard of this Program before,so i thought it was new..Friend of mine saw it on "TV" last evening and sent me email asking me about it so I went to the site. (zeloz.com) to check it out..I was reading, when my Spysweeper Memory Shields window appeared and said:
DETECTED-Running Threat-Eacceleration-tetra.dll.

So i closed all open windows and let Spysweeper Scan my PC:
found :96 traces of this adware! and safely deleted all..
Seems this "Program" has been around a while, but first time i had heard of it..Guess they are using a diffrent name this time..(ZELOZ)?

I tried this stuff a while ago and it took hours to get it off my computer. Why not use something else? The Microsoft Free Beta is not bad, and Spysweeper (www.webroot.com) is the BEST!!! I am saying that because I have been seaching for the BEST Anti-spyware software and haven't found anything better than the stuff from Webroot.

PS: I don't work at Webroot and I am just a tech support person. When I use Spysweeper to detect and clean a problem, the user of the computer doesn't get pop-ups or slow downs after Spysweeper gives the PC a clean bill of health. TRY IT!!!! and see for yourself!
And...Have you ever seen anything BAD about Spysweeper? Think about that!

Velos Stop-Sign
by DonWon007 / January 21, 2005 10:29 PM PST

Whenever I see the ads on TV for Stop-Sign, I am thinking how much money I could make if I start my own business removing that garbage. I could go to their house and sign them up for a $29.95 subscription to Spysweeper and end their spyware troubles. Even the FREE version of spysweeper would make users of STOP SIGN a believer!! I wonder how long it will be before the Stop-Sign SCAN is finally taken off the air!!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
