The Palm units may record in WAV format so you may get very few minutes of recording. Ask about that. The stock recorder that I tried on another Palm only recorded for as long as you held the button. You may get tired of that and I know of no replacement software recorder that will do better.
Look for reviews on the iPaq rx3115 since the rx1715 made the 10 Worst Gifts ever at http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1735287,00.asp
Hi, I am currently looking to buy a new PDA and have come across three models that I am interested in:
I intend to use the PDA to listen to music, watch video clips, edit/create/view Microsoft word/excel/powerpoint files and possibly access the internet (not necessary). I can also utilise the voice record function of the T3/Ipaq (but is it good enough quality to record lectures?).
Please post some opinions you may have about which one is the better choice.
