Tungsten T3 HotSync with Outlook 2000 SP3

Apr 29, 2004 12:09AM PDT

I am using my Tungsten T3 to HotSync with Outlook 2000 SP3 and HotSync Manager 4.0 at work and Outlook 2002 at home.

When I sync my desktop and PDA in the morning, there are tasks and appointments which I cross off during the day which are restored again when I sync with my PDA. So I choose "Desktop over Handheld".

How does the HotSync determine which files get replaced? For example, if I change a task or mark as complete, does the HotSync look at that task or does it look at the modified time for all of my tasks in Outlook?

Is there a way to set up profiles for dictating "Handheld over desktop" etc beyond the default setting?

ALSO: There used to be a search function on the forums. I can't find that now. Is it still available and I can't find it?
