Tunebite Problems

Mar 11, 2005 6:09PM PST

Hi,

I have bought Tunebite to convert my Napster files so I can play them on my Netgear Mp101 player. But the problem is that the Netgear will only play a Bitrate of 128 Kps and when I select the 128 Kps option on Tunebite it basically totally ignores it and copies the files on the same bitrate as the originals, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers

John

Napster files?

What format is Napster files?

Never heard of Tunebite. Sounds like you've been scammed. Try Audacity, a free audio editing software. It can convert audio files between mp3, Ogg, and a few other common formats, at different bit rates. I'm not sure what kind of file format Napster uses, so it may not work.

Don't ever pay money for any of these download programs. They're usually buggy, and can possibly mess up your computer. Believe or not, freeware is almost always better.

I've just tried the latest version (1.2.1.1) and seems to work fine with 128 CBR, maybe you need to upgrade ...
