Question

Trying to update my 49UH850V

May 8, 2017 9:00AM PDT

Hey peoples

Im trying to manually update my 49UH850V to version 04.30.95, i download the file from the lg support page but when i try to unzip it, I get an error message saying the zip file is empty, ive tried on both standard windows unzipper and 7-zip. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. I know the file cant be empty as its 850mb.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

The alternative method wasn't working for me as the tv didn't find available updates which is why im trying to do it via USB.

Be sure there's plenty of disk space and no overreaching antivirus suite is creating a reactor leak.

Neither is an issue

I've tried unzipped on my ssd boot drive, my mechanic storage drive and my external drive all give the same results. And i only use windows defender which has never interfered with decompressing files before.
