trying to uninstall mcafee security suite from new system

doesn't seem to want to uninstall. try through the program and it won't allow because program is running. tried add/remove and same thing.

any suggestions appreciated.

I had that same problem about a year ago but can't remember just how I got rid of it.
I went to www.mcafee.com and after much searching and 4 or 5 e-mail suppport messages I found a way to delete it.
Good luck. In in my case they kept telling me how to delete Quickclean 5??. It seems as how the online techs for McAfee can't get things straight as to what you want to do.
