Trying to set my Samsung Smart TV to a diffrent audio output

Sep 25, 2019 12:42AM PDT

Hello all,

I have just bought a 55 inch samsung smart TV and a blaupunkt bp-5100 sound bar.

The sound bar has no cable connection to the TV, only via bluetooth.

I connected the sound bar to the TV successfully and everything work perfet.

The prolem is when the TV is closed it detach from the sound bar and when I open the TV back I have to reconnect them manually all over again.

Is there a way to define the TV to connect automaticlly to the sound bar when it's open?

Please tell the country you live in, the exact model number and provide a link to the user manual. Samsung has many different TV's world-wide.

Are you sure the TV is in HOME MODE?

Look in that manual for "The TV settings are lost after 5 minutes."

I can't find the blaupunkt bp-5100 sound bar specs or manual but some TVs just don't function right over Bluetooth. You should always use a cable connection.

Are you sure the TV is in HOME MODE?

I have to write this is not a proper sound bar for use with most TVs. I read the manual on the TV and it did not or I missed where it shows use of Bluetooth as a feature as the connection to the soundbar.

As such I doubt Samsung will fix it. This means you should at least check that the TV is in HOME MODE, re-test and then if it fails arrange for a compatible sound bar.
