Question

trying to save text from a website to my HD

Feb 22, 2014 9:36PM PST

there is a text box for typing notes as you listen to the speaker. there is a "save" icon which then saves the note you just finished typing to the downloads folder in "my documents". only problem is when you open the file your notes contain a bunch of computer jibberish - i'm not a pc geek and that what it looks like to me. if i were more knowledgeable of the mechanics of this forum, i would have included a screenshot of the jibberish, but i didnt see a way to include one. some of the jibberish looked like:
<html><head><title><RadioPlayer Notes>/title . . .etc

i'd like to save the notes to my HD without all the jibb.
any way to do this ? ?

thanks

That looks like standard HTML code, so just try opening the file with a web browser.
