Trying to Recover XP

Sytem crashed and ended up with BSOD. No boot disk available.
Cannot boot in Safe Mode, or any mode for that matter.

Tried recovery console via XP disk but receive the following:

The path or file specified is not valid
C:\>

Also tried "Set up Windows XP" option via XP disk but get the following:
<Setup cannot access this disk>

Is there any other recovery utility out there that might work?

Thanks!

Re: recovery

Seems it needs another hard disk or another motherboard. Only experiment will tell which of the two is broken.
