Question

Trying to Play music off iPhone X on LG Smart TV

Jan 12, 2020 8:30AM PST

Hi.
I've managed to connect my iPhone X to my LG Smart TV and use LG TV Plus to play music but, although I select multiple songs it only played the first song and won't play any more.

Does anyone have a reliable way to play my iPhone music through the IG Smart TV?

Thank you.

Duncan

Is to attach an Apple TV box.

Yes, I know about the Apple TV box but I also know that LG Smart TV's can link with iPhones. I can link the two, but have very little control over how to play music, etc.

Apple will likely tell you it won't work and note the Apple TV box.
LG will likely tell you it's Apple's problem.

My brother has an Apple TV and it solves issues like this quite well. So well that I would fix it with the Apple TV without pause.

In parting, Smart TVs are about as dumb a device you'll ever encounter.
You can find so many complaints about app bugs and makers that can't shoot straight (can't fix the buggs. (Spelling error intentional.)

Sorry but I don't see how that fixes the issues.
