OLE stands for Object Linking and Embedding, and in this case, the website is trying to download an ActiveX object to your browser to play the Netcast. The problem is... It's a Windows ActiveX control.
If you really really want to listen to it, I'd write their admin and see if they can just give you the link to the stream and see if you have a player that'll play it.
i am trying to download a radio station on my school computer which is a mac. we are operating osx and i already have windows media player installed. i did everything that i read to do. when i tried to get the radio station, i get the error message mmime type application/x-oleobject. not sure what that is and cannot find it in any info i was looking for. could someone tell me what that is, how to load it and so forth? thanks parrotfrog
