Trying to manually delete program

Jul 4, 2005 4:45AM PDT

Howdy. I just downloaded Adobe Reader 7.0 from this site. I got an Adobe/Yahoo bar on Internet Explorer 6 that has taken over my original search of google with the little doggie on the bottom. I have DELETED this program using the control panel; rebooted and shut off. The program is no longer listed but the search bar remains. Can anyone help me restore the original search engine? Thanks so much and please keep any advise simple/concrete. Happy 4th!!!

a 'pencil' looking icon, right click it and choose Uninstall.

Then to get the Google bar back again, right click in the IE toolbar and look down the list of toolbars available and put the checkmark back into the one for Google to make it appear.
