Trying to locate/transfer old Netscape 7.1 emails to new PC

Feb 10, 2006 7:58PM PST

I'm using Netscape 7.1 as my primary browser and email client...

how do I locate.. guess that's the tuff part.. the folder that holds all my emails.. Inbox.. Send..Trash, etc..there's a lot of them in there... I'm about to purchase a new PC and would like to save and transfer via CD-DVD these emails to the new one...along with my other backups of pics, videos etc.. the only problem I've run into is the location of these emails..

I have tried locating this email folder every which way.. just can't seem to find it.. I thought it was under Netscape-'Users'.. but maybe I'm just not looking for the correct named file/folder

any suggestions appreciated.. thanx

Netscape profile folder...
Feb 11, 2006 12:06AM PST

All of your settings, bookmarks, and e-mail are stored in your Netscape profile folder. To transfer everything you need to install Netscape 7.1 on your new computer, delete the default profile folder it creates, then copy-and paste your profile folder over. For information about where to find your profile folder based on your operating system, click here. Just make sure it works before deleting anything.

Hope this helps,
John
